today’s post was written by a friend of mine from high school, Kathaleen Groomes. she’s a beautiful soul who lives a life of truth, light & peace, manages a funky little store called reVIBE, and is just plain awesome.
The three most important things I would share with my younger self:
1) Everyone is sensationally beautiful in a unique way that only they can master. No matter what, always search for this beauty, and honor it; begin with yourself.
2) At the end of the day, when you look in the mirror, the only one looking back at you is yourself. Make your decisions and choices with only your happiness in mind; this will make the people who truly love you happier than any other act you could possibly perform.
3) Be you, without apology. There is an empty space in the world that only you can fill. You were blessed with your life, your gifts and your beauty for a reason… Don’t waste God’s time with drama, fear or uncertainty. He knows you and your abilities better than you know yourself.
do you want to share some words with your younger self? i’m still looking for submissions! it can be a letter, a poem, a picture—whatever you need[ed] to hear.
